About Peter Marfione
Drawing upon nearly 15 years of experience in the education field, Peter Marfione serves as a business and marketing teacher with North Andover Public Schools as well as head coach of the district’s varsity hockey program. Peter Marfione has been with the school system since 2007, during which time he has taught courses in accounting, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining North Andover Public Schools, Peter Marfione worked as a special education tutor with Concord-Carlisle School District and a permanent substitute with Wakefield Public Schools. An accomplished hockey coach and former NCAA player, he also spent three years as coach of the Bedford High School varsity hockey team, where he was a two-time Merrimack Valley Conference-Dual County League Coach of the Year.
Mr. Marfione holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Salve Regina University, where he was captain of the school's hockey team for two seasons, and he has completed coursework toward a master's degree in secondary education at Fitchburg State College. Supplementing his playing and coaching experience in hockey, Mr. Marfione stands out as a certified USA Hockey referee.
